TEDxSJCC 2026 marked the third edition of TEDxSJCC at St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, Bengaluru, built around the theme "Artificial Minds, Natural Limits" and the sustainability paradox surrounding AI. For the event, I designed and developed a dedicated digital platform that went beyond a conventional event website. The system connected the public-facing event experience with interactive engagement, registration, digital ticket generation, QR verification and administrative workflows.

/ Challenge
TEDxSJCC needed a stronger digital experience for its third edition. Rather than relying only on conventional registration workflows, the event required a dedicated platform that could communicate the event, introduce speakers, support registration, generate digital tickets and simplify verification during the event. There was also an opportunity to make the experience more engaging for students before the event itself. The challenge was therefore bigger than building a website: How could the digital platform become part of the event experience while also solving practical registration and event-management needs?

Digital Experience
Designed the overall digital experience around the complete TEDxSJCC attendee and organiser event journey.
Web Design & UI/UX
Created the public-facing TEDxSJCC website, theme identity, speaker profiles, schedule, and responsive interface.
Web Development
Developed the responsive frontend architecture, cinematic video hero, scrolling tickers, and supporting web functionality.
Registration & QR Ticketing
Built the digital registration workflow and dynamic ticket-generation experience with uniquely encoded QR codes.
QR Ticket Scanner
Implemented dedicated camera-based QR scanning and instant on-ground ticket verification for event entry.
Interactive Development
Created the student engagement game with high-score tracking to gamify anticipation ahead of the conference.
Backend & Administration
Developed a login-protected administrative dashboard for monitoring registrations, participant data, and high scores.
Event Operations & Export
Structured participant records with data export capabilities to support seamless offline event-day check-in workflows.
/ Solution
I designed and developed a dedicated TEDxSJCC digital ecosystem that connected the public website with interactive and operational features. The experience brought together responsive frontend storytelling, digital ticket generation with QR codes, on-ground QR ticket scanning, an interactive student game with high-score tracking, and a login-protected admin dashboard with exportable records into one seamless event platform.

Semantic structure, CSS custom properties, glassmorphism UI layers, and responsive layout across mobile, tablet and desktop viewports.

Interactive functionality, scroll-triggered animations, interactive game mechanics, and dynamic client-side workflows.

Dynamic digital QR code ticket generation paired with a dedicated mobile camera scanning interface for fast event check-in.

Login-protected administrative interface allowing the organising team to monitor registrations, participant data, and leaderboard metrics.
Data Export & Operations
Registration data export functionality enabling offline attendee verification, badge printing, and event record management.
/ Outcome & Contribution
The project transformed the TEDxSJCC digital experience from a basic informational workflow into a connected event technology ecosystem. By integrating the public event platform with interactive engagement, digital registration, QR ticketing, on-ground mobile scanning, and administrative data management, the solution delivered an engaging experience for attendees and an efficient operational workflow for the organising team.
